The goal of an artist is to create the definitive work that can not be surpassed.

I wonder how can you progress if you can not pass, let alone surpass...how can you pass anything if it is held so close to above ( root meaning of sur- ). To imagine something is above passing... hmmm... I would never work again. To stand still and never be passed... well, that is to create a legacy... life then would be the definitive work. To rise ( another root word of sur- ) and never pass away... living after death... a legacy. A legacy.

W.A.R. - Women After Relationships

This is a group of women chasing after me.... NO!!!!! I AM JOKING. This is an organization of spiritual women who are seeking to improve their relationships with the Lord. Originally stemming from a women fellowship held by Speaking Spirit Ministries, the diverse group of ladies has become a spiritual force not to be taken lightly. All women are welcome to join... the only requirements are a spirit and a willingness to grow in the Spirit. I wish I could join... oh well, at least I got to create their logo.

Well, it has been a little while since my last post... I have been handling business, making music, researching, studying, creating art, blah blah blah... living life in my way as we all seem to do. On the punctuated note of enterprise I have re-designed my business card. It is said that the business card and the way you say "bye" are the only things people remember you from in the corporate world. Weather that is true or not is irrelevant to the fact I needed an improved business card. A card that communicated what I can do for you in a clean, clear, and concise format.

Your environment is your world. Some people react to there environment, others make the environment react to them... well, as much as possible. I will not get into controlling life for the purpose of staying on subject, but will do so later. The subject at hand is the connection we have with our worlds. What type of energy do you feed people? nature? space?

I have already posted and questioned the perceptions we have of our worlds including all things in them (see previous post). Now I ask what actions do you take to create the positive environment we all seem to want? The environment where everything clicks and all good things come to us at that moment we ask.

Life is a give and take...

If you feed something negative it grows.
If you feed something positive it grows.

Most of my artwork is created the same way: Multiple layers building up from dark to light. Most of my paintings are from memory or studies. I don't use white or black paint in my color works...

So many associate religion with spirituality thinking you need to have religion to be spiritual. Do you need religion to have spirituality?

What is spirituality?

What is religion?

• noun 1 the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. 2 a particular system of faith and worship. 3 a pursuit or interest followed with devotion.
— ORIGIN originally in the sense life under monastic vows: from Latin religio ‘obligation, reverence’.

Kanye West!?! I am not a fan of Kanye West's image...some ones 'got a big ego'... but in honor of my friend Stanley Rayfield's good news it seemed only fitting to add a celebrity portrait. I remember him drawing pages, filling books with portraits... hard work really pays off man. Congratulations again. I wish you much success.

Speaking in the present, society has learned we all share common roots and ancestry. Considering all human lives, we as people have discovered that the actions in our environments truly dictate where we stand or who we are as beings. Being conscious of life, we are living. Being human, we are human. Being positive, we are positive. Being negative, we are negative. Being aware of change needed, we can change. But, even with these facts holding true, most of us still see the spirit of a person through their flesh instead of seeing the spirit in flesh. Better said, we see the history of a person before they know or show who they really are.

Good thoughts turned bad do bad things.
Multiplying a positive by a negative makes a negative.
We are who we are until we show another truth.
So we can do a lot of good in a day ..................
then doing one wrong . we do wrong that day.
If someone sees you do wrong, they see you are wrong.

You're good...but change their view. Something isn't right with what they see.
